We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Brickwork Technician to join our Construction team on a full time, permanent basis. In this key role, you will provide vital support to the Brickwork Lecturer in the delivery of both practical and theoretical sessions, helping to enhance the learning experience of our students. 

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide full technician support to the Construction team, working closely with the Brickwork Lecturer to support the delivery of both practical and theoretical sessions. This role will play a key part in supporting the learning and development of students within the department. There is potential for growth in learner numbers in the second year, along with the possible expansion of the programme to include apprenticeship provision.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with a minimum of two A-levels or an equivalent qualification, along with a relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3. A valid First Aid at Work certificate and a Manual Handling certificate are desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate. The ideal applicant will have solid experience within the industry, be familiar with working in an educational environment, and have hands-on experience with industry-related machinery. Strong skills and a proactive attitude are essential to succeed in this role.
