Responsibilities

As Deputy Campus Principal, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the Centre, deputising for the Campus Principal and championing continuous improvement across quality, curriculum delivery, and student experience. You will also take the lead as Head of Upper Sixth, guiding our Year 13 students through their final transformative year — ensuring they leave confident, capable, and ready for the world.

• Deliver outstanding academic and pastoral support to Year 13 students, ensuring strong outcomes and progression

• Drive the implementation of quality improvement plans and the Ofsted action plan

• Champion a student-centred culture of aspiration, ambition, and achievement.

• Provide inspiring line management to key staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration

• Represent the Sixth Form with confidence, professionalism, and pride — both internally and externally

• Lead and quality assure the personal development and tutorial curriculum for the Upper Sixth

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Degree or equivalent level qualified

• Hold a teaching qualification

• A dynamic senior leader with proven success in post-16 education and quality improvement

• Strategic thinker with strong operational skills, including data-driven decision making

• Passionate about student achievement, personal development, and progression

• A confident communicator who builds trust and motivates teams at every level

• Experienced in leading staff, managing performance, and fostering a culture of high expectations
