Our school values ‘Be Proud, Aim High, Work Hard, Be Kind, No Excuses’ are at the centre of everything we do to maximise girls’ progress, develop their character and promote their emotional health and well-being. We are an oversubscribed girl’s school in East London and offer excellent opportunities for professional development and a great working environment.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate with:

● Experience and expertise in one to one and small group teaching of brass and piano is essential.

● Experience of teaching the trombone is desirable but not essential

● The ability to support ensembles and extracurricular music.

● The ability to inspire young people from a range of different contexts and backgrounds to high quality music making.

● The ability to collaborate with the rest of the music team to maximise student progress.

Our girls love music and enjoy making the most of opportunities to perform in concerts throughout the year both in school and around London. The music department has recently moved into brand new facilities on site offering students access to high quality music making. We also work closely with Newham Music Service as well as our partner schools in Newham Community Learning. We are looking for someone with the initiative, drive and creativity to help us move music forward in exciting new ways.
