Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a PE Teacher at Sir Bernard Lovell Academy, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust. OFSTED judged us “Good” in all areas during our most recent full inspection (November 2021).
As PE Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering lessons – designing engaging lessons that promote physical activity, skill development and teamwork
- Assessing students performance – give students regular feedback so they can make progress in lessons
- Encouraging participation - motivating students of all levels to engage in physical activity and develop confidence
- Ensuring safety – maintaining a safe environment by enforcing rules, setting high expectations and checking equipment
