An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Seagrave Village Primary School as an After School Club Coordinator, working 3:15pm – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The After School Club Coordinator will be responsible for leading the day to day management and organisation of the club, providing refreshments and a range of engaging activities for the children in a safe and caring environment. The post holder will be required to line manage the After School Club Assistants, guiding and supporting them to deliver high quality creative play opportunities.
This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to plan and develop the club, in consultation with the Head Teacher to ensure a high quality provision is delivered at all times. The ideal candidate will:
• Have 5 GCSEs (above C grade) or equivalent
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Have good interpersonal and organisational skills
• Be creative, inspiring and engaging
• Have a good understanding of basic health and safety, including food hygiene
• Be able to build positive relationships with parents/carers and other stakeholders
