Selwood Academy is seeking to appoint a highly skilled, innovative and dynamic teacher to support the school in its drive to enhance its support for young people in the recovery of their learning.
We are seeking a teacher with the ability to teach in at least one of the following areas; Maths, English, PSHE, Computing, RE or French.

This post would allow you to join the Academy at a very exciting time. This is an exciting new post which will allow the successful candidate to fully develop leadership potential. Due to the nature of the school this role would be suitable for a practitioner from a Primary, Secondary or Middle school background.
We require someone who:
• Can effectively plan, develop and evaluate high quality lessons and be able to lead the planning and delivery of small-group intervention sessions as and when appropriate
• Supports the school’s vision and values
• Displays a clear vision and passion in their teaching and can motivate those around them.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.
