Welcome to Send Church of England (CofE) Primary School. We are a two form entry primary school with a 26 place nursery class
I am delighted that you have chosen, or are considering, our school for the next step in your career.
Send CofE is a great school. We believe that childhood is a precious time and the staff at Send CofE work hard to make sure that our children's time with us is happy and fulfilling.
We try to create an environment based on our shared Christian Values, where every child is recognised as special and unique.
We work hard to make our school an exciting place to learn. A place where every child achieves their best.
We believe that by developing a child's skills, curiosity, resilience and independence, they will go on to become confident young people, ready to take their place in the world.
We look forward, with you, to provide the children at Send CofE with the very best start in life.
With best wishes
Mrs Marianne McDonnell
Headteacher
Over the last year we have built an inspiring team of staff and we have a new, hardworking Governing Body, ensuring that our strategic decisions make every day a fulfilling experience for our children: we never lose sight of their needs.
We have a clear vision for the future of primary education at the heart of Send village and are relentless in our pursuit of excellence.
As a church school, we actively promote the development of Christian values and citizenship skills, equipping pupils for life in the wider world. These values underpin our curriculum and form the basis of social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and moral development.
We believe that good education is based on strong partnerships between home and school. We look forward to developing an open, trusting and meaningful relationship with parents and carers: one in which our children will flourish.
