We are currently looking for someone to join our lovely small rural village primary school to run our afterschool club.
- We are looking for someone who has:
- -A calm and consistent approach;
- -Excellent communication skills;
- -Energy, patience, a good sense of humour and enthusiasm;
- -A good understanding of a small primary school setting;
- -The ability to adapt and respond to children’s needs using initiative and showing flexibility in approach;
- -A willingness to participate fully in the life of the school;
- -Understanding of the school’s Christian Ethos and values
- -An initiative to organise fun activities for the children
- Tasks including setting up, assisting and supervising the children with fun activities, providing a snack and clearing away.

- Afterschool club runs from 3.15pm until 5:30/6:00 pm Monday to Thursday
We are looking for help from Mondays to Thursdays 3.15pm-6.00pm but are open any number of days for job share applications as long as days of the week are consistent.
This role is initially temporary until 31st August 2027.
Closing date is 5pm Monday 6th July 2026
The interview would consist of an on the job observation and a few formal questions. Week commencing Monday 13th July 2026
