SENDCO (0.6) - 3 Day Equivalent - Non-class based - MPS/UPS (for the right candidate) + SEND allowance
Shawfield Primary School are looking to appoint an exceptional, experienced, qualified teacher and/or existing School Leader to the position of SENDCO for September 2024.
Visits to the school are actively encouraged prior to application and can be arranged by contacting Debbie Green, School Finance Officer.
The successful candidate will have:
-Qualified Teacher Status
-National Award for SEND Coordinator (Or interest in completing this via the NPQ qualification for SENDCOs)
-Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study with clear impact indicators
- commitment to continuing professional development as necessary to develop the role
-can demonstrate successful leadership and management in school
-proven track record of achieving outstanding pupil progress across the school
-experience in using data and data analysis to drive up standards
-clear knowledge and experience in all issues relating to the safeguarding of children
