School Administrator Sherwood Park School - Sherwood Manor Campus

Part time 36 hours per week – Term Time + 1 week
Grade: 4/5 SCP 7 to 15 (pro rata)
Salary: £25,241.99 pa to £28,325.63 pa (£29,346.00 pa to £32,931.00 pa FTE pro rata)
Sherwood Park School is a vibrant and friendly all age foundation special school, which consists of soon to be three campuses; Sherwood Park Campus in Wallington, which provides for pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities and severe learning disabilities and; Sherwood Hill Campus in Carshalton, which provides for pupils with autism and severe learning disabilities and / or significant social and emotional difficulties that affect their capacity. The Manor Campus is designed to meet the needs of primarily autistic learners as well as some with moderate learning difficulties, many of whom have additional differences and complexities.
We have a vacancy for a School Administrator at our Sherwood Manor Campus although staff are expected to work across a few sites when required to cope across daily activities
The successful candidate will have experience within a busy administrative environment including excellent skills in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work under pressure with a diverse workload. You will have a high level of self-motivation, using this to find solutions to school challenges and be resilient amongst learners.
You will be able to engage and work with children and young people, have an awareness and empathy of some of the barriers faced by our pupils and a commitment to play a part in removing these barriers, combined with a desire to join a team of pupil-centred, committed staff.
Experience of SIMS and working with SEN students would be highly desirable attributes, however, training will be provided.
