Riverbank Academy currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Drama & Interaction Class Lead to join the team, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners.
Job overview
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering Drama and Interaction learning programmes and activities to groups of pupils. Provide pastoral care, assess, report, and monitor the academic and personal progress of pupils and to take a lead role in developing, implementing and monitoring the impact of lessons.
Job requirements
- Grade C/4/5 GCSE in English and Maths
- Qualification (AS/A level) desirable
- To motivate and encourage students to work co-operativel
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in rural and urban environments supporting students in a range of activities such as Duke of Edinburgh, forest school, horticulture and gardening
- Able to support students aged from 11-19 in moving and handling and personal care
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
