Shape Your Future in Education with The Coventry SCITT paid Teaching Internship Programme!

Are you passionate about teaching and curious about what life in education is really like?

Our three-week immersive internship is your chance to gain hands-on experience, professional development, and a behind-the-scenes look at how schools operate.

Why Join Us?

Developed by education experts, this programme combines real classroom experience with structured learning sessions delivered by our SCITT team. You’ll be fully integrated into one of our secondary schools and supported every step of the way by experienced mentors.

What You’ll Experience

This isn’t just an internship - it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of education and discover what makes teaching so rewarding.

Over three weeks, you’ll:

● Step into the Classroom: Support lessons, work with students, and experience the energy of real teaching environments.

● Explore School Life: Go beyond the classroom to understand how schools operate, from leadership decisions to pastoral care.

● Learn from Experts: Join interactive sessions led by education professionals on topics like classroom strategies, career pathways, and teacher development.

● Build Your Skills: Take part in employability workshops and gain practical insights that will boost your confidence and CV.

● Create and Reflect: Complete a meaningful project based on your experiences and present it during our end-of-programme Celebration Session.

● Network for Your Future: Connect with mentors, school leaders, and peers who share your passion for education.
