About the role:
• This KS3 SNE Teacher will be based at our Rowde campus which sits in a sensory rich setting of 35 acres. A setting ideal for enhancing learning through nature, a haven for exploration and discovery, offering an inclusive outdoor learning experience to all.
• You will join a team of 9 KS3 SEN teachers and work closely to help support, guide and work collaboratively together.
• You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high quality lessons to a mixed age group of KS3 pupils being taught a semi-formal curriculum.
• The pupils have a wide variety of learning needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism and complex needs.
• Your class team of support staff will work closely with you to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.
• Adapting teaching techniques to meet a Semi-Formal curriculum working on social skills, taking turns, following group instructions, regulating and expressing emotions through a variety of teaching methods.

• Strong behaviour management skills are critical in creating a safe, productive and structured learning environment
• Has the ability to communicate instructions and feedback clearly and effectively, adapting their communication style to suit the needs of their pupils.
