Silverwood School is an inspirational and forward-thinking special school based in the heart of Wiltshire. We support pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
At Silverwood, our EYFS team is at the start of something extraordinary. From the first day of school to first words, our dedicated staff guide our SEND pupils through life’s earliest and most important discoveries—with care, creativity and boundless empathy.
Opening in September 2025, our brand-new bespoke EYFS building at our Rowde campus will offer a nurturing, thoughtfully designed space just for our youngest learners—with its own garden, sensory-rich outdoor play area, and direct access to the wider school’s natural grounds and animals.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for your next challenge or an ECT ready to begin a career in SEN, this is a role where you’ll shape lives—and grow your own career in a supportive, purpose-driven team.
Working here isn’t always easy—but it is deeply rewarding.
“Silverwood has a real sense of community and we are forever evolving and changing as a school. It’s a really exciting and inspirational place to work with fantastic people in every department and level in the school.”
