We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher to join our Rowde Campus on a fixed-term basis (0.8 fte) to cover maternity leave from 6th October 2025. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated SEND setting where no two days are the same.
Silverwood School is a specialist setting supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with a wide range of complex needs. Spread across three campuses in Wiltshire, our school provides tailored, inclusive education designed to help each pupil thrive.
This role will suit a creative, compassionate teacher who is excited by the opportunity to teach both Art to KS3 pupils and to be a Tutor for a KS3 class following a formal curriculum. You’ll be part of a vibrant, multi-skilled team committed to helping every learner build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

About the role:
• Based at our Rowde campus which sits in a sensory rich setting of 35 acres. A setting ideal for enhancing learning through nature, a haven for exploration and discovery, offering an inclusive outdoor learning experience to all.
• You will work alongside 40 other experienced teachers at our Rowde campus, a supportive environment where you can learn, share and work collaboratively together.
• A creative individual who role will be split equally between teaching Art to our KS3 pupils and also Tutor to a KS3 class teaching a formal curriculum.

• Have the ability to communicate instructions and feedback clearly and effectively, adapting their communication style to suit the needs of their pupils.
