MDSA Vacancy – Rowde Campus

Permanent, 10 hrs pw Mon- Fri 12:00 – 14:00, term time only

Salary: Grade C £12.26 - £12.65 per hour dependent on experience. Approx salary £5,358

Are you enthusiastic, caring and committed to the wellbeing of children? We are looking for a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to join our supportive team and help make lunchtime a safe, enjoyable experience for all pupils.

About the role:

• Supervise children during the lunch break, both in the dining area and outside in the playground

• Encourage positive play and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils

• Prepare food and help the pupils eat a nutritious meal

• Support pupils in developing good manners and social skills during lunchtime

• Help manage minor incidents and report any concerns to the relevant staff

We are seeking a passionate, caring and patient MDSA who thrives on making meaningful connections and plays an important part in the child’s daily routine and who:

• Has a kind, calm and friendly manner

• Enjoys working with children contributing to their development

• Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

• Has experience working in a school or with children (preferred but not essential – training will be provided)
