Site Officer - required all year round
Full Time and Permanent
37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, various 8 hour shifts*
*required to work anytime between 6am and 6pm on a rota
some weekend work required on a rota system (overtime payable)
Salary £21,968 per annum
Annual leave: 25 days plus all public holidays
The School:
Built in 2012, The Sir Robert Woodard Academy, part of the Woodard family of schools, boasts modern and spacious facilities, such as a fitness suite, theatre and sports hall. It is a thriving 11–18 Academy, serving primarily the students of Lancing, Sompting and West Shoreham, though we welcome students from all surrounding areas. As the school grows in popularity, there is likely to be further expansion and development over the coming years.

The Position:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Officer to join the Academy and the dedicated Site Team as soon as possible. We are looking for an individual with relevant skills or experience, high personal and professional standards and a positive ‘can do’ approach. Key tasks in this role include basic maintenance and repairs, porterage, cleaning and litter collection. Please review the job description for further details on the role responsibilities.

The successful post-holder will:-
• Be well-presented with strong interpersonal skills; a good level of fitness is essential
• Have relevant trade skills/experience & be able to do a range of duties, including some heavy lifting
• Have a good understanding of health and safety and a basic understanding of COSHH
• Show initiative, work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
