We are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to prepare practical’s for all classes including A Level Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The post involves co-ordinating the use and maintenance of the practical resources and facilities. A good understanding of laboratory conditions and related Health & Safety precautions is an essential requirement.

The Senior Science Technician will be responsible for day-to-day management of three Science Technicians and have overall responsibility for ensuring that the practical needs of the science curriculum are met and that statutory safety regulations and safe practice are complied with.

Candidates must have prior experience working within a school laboratory and demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships in order to effectively lead the team that they are part of. They must also be flexible, able to work under pressure, be attentive to detail and have excellent communication skills.
