St John the Baptist School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science, ideally a Biology specialist, to join our well established and high performing department. The post would be suitable for an NQT or for someone with experience looking to develop their teaching practice further.
Due to the continued success of our Science Department, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner who shares our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement and is eager to develop their own practice in an environment that is both supportive and at the cutting edge of Science pedagogy and practice. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the subject and for teaching children; the ability to inspire students; and the desire to go the extra mile to help our students achieve their full potential. The ability to teach to A Level, although preferred, is not required.
This is an excellent opportunity for both NQTs as well as more experienced teachers who are looking to grow and develop their own classroom practice whilst immersing themselves in an environment that is at the forefront of Science teaching and pedagogy. The successful candidate will be well supported and have access to significant future professional development opportunities.
