Deputy Headteacher

Due to the promotion of the current postholder to headship, the Governors of this successful and oversubscribed school wish to appoint a committed and practising Catholic to join us. We are seeking to appoint a leader who demonstrates a passion for learning and teaching and a commitment to ensuring that every child flourishes in every aspect of school life.

St. Joseph’s RC High School is a happy, ambitious and very successful learning community. The school’s performance at GCSE and A level has been exceptional over the last 3 years and the school balances its academic success with a focus on the wellbeing and care of every child. Estyn and Section 50 inspections have highlighted the many good and excellent features of the school.

This is an exciting time in the school’s development with new curriculum opportunities, a desire to continue to develop learning and teaching and a relentless focus on ensuring young people fulfil their potential.
