Sir Jonathan North College is an outstanding secondary school in Leicester which is constantly growing and looking to improve. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking, team player to join the highly successful Administration Team. The postholder will be a key link for the attendance provision, providing administrative support to the Office and Pastoral teams. The role will also support general administrative duties.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To provide a comprehensive and effective customer service to all visitors, staff, students and parents, dealing with enquiries to the College whether in person, by telephone or by email.
• Apply a good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications to create letters, tables, illustrations etc. for relevant staff, including Pastoral and Senior Leaders (for example, but not exclusively, attendance letters, holiday letters, attendance breakdowns).
• To support the maintenance and development of the College’s Management Information System (currently SIMS), including the input of student data relating to personal information.
• To prepare daily and weekly attendance data for Pastoral Leaders and tutors and to carry out attendance phone calls as requested.
• Assist in the organisation of student photographs and to prepare students’ ID cards, primarily at the beginning of the academic year, and thereafter when they need replacing due to loss or change of circumstance.
• To be responsible for the ‘Free School Meals’ data and associated admin and liaison with students, parents and FSM service.
• To provide general administrative support.
