We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Technology (creative media specialist would be desirable but not essential) to join our outstanding Technology Department. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who can offer more than one Technology discipline.

The Technology Department has a suite of dedicated teaching rooms that facilitate specialist teaching in all areas, as well as dedicated ICT accommodation. Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Creative Media are currently offered for GCSE study and we are keen to develop a post-16 qualification. The Department benefits from inspirational and transformational leadership of this important subject area.

This vacancy would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher.

For ECTs interested in applying we are delivering the Early Career Framework in partnership with the Ambition Institute as their coaching model complements the established coaching practices we have in school for all teaching staff.

Slough and Eton is a great school on the outskirts of Slough, which serves the Chalvey community. We are relentlessly focused on ensuring great teaching, learning and experiences are at the core of what we do. It is an exciting time for us and our students are a pleasure to work with.

You can read the welcome letter from our Headteacher and can find out more by visiting our school website and watching our video to find out more about us. We encourage you to visit our school too. To arrange a visit please contact us and speak to our HR Manager.

We welcome applications from colleagues who may wish to explore flexible working arrangements.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to satisfactory references, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and evidence of essential qualifications and proof of legal working in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.

Applications can be sent to Kirstin Sutherland, HR Manager.  CVs alone will not be accepted as a valid application.

Closing date Friday 19th April 2024 (9am)

We reserve the right to interview promising candidates prior to this date if applications are received early.
