We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor, to provide high quality supervision and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will need to be pro-active, flexible, organised and able to use your own initiative.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be solely responsible for a whole class, ensuring a positive working atmosphere is maintained and that the work is productive. You will deliver and explain the work set, as well as respond to questions and uphold high standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, you will be required to work alongside teaching and classroom-based staff to provide general support for departments.
The implementation of our new and exciting whole school Digital Literacy programme means that it is essential that you are ICT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing the best possible education for our students.
If you are interested in joining our team and would like an application form, please complete a Support Staff application form from our website or ask at the St Mary’s College school reception for an application form.
