Safeguarding Officer required for September 2024

Fixed Term - Maternity Cover

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Term time only + 2 additional days

Grade 8 (Scp 25 -28) £33,945 – £36,648 FTE

Actual Salary £29,096 - £31,413

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Due to a maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and passionate Safeguarding Officer to join our ‘World Class’ school to lead on safeguarding.

We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer who is highly organised, emotionally resilient and able to prioritise a conflicting workload. The successful candidate will lead and work in partnership with staff, pupils, families and external agencies to ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across the school. Expectation would be to promote a culture of ongoing vigilance to protect and safeguard children across our school and the wider Trust.

The role will be part of a team whose core purpose is to safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
