Actual Annual Salary: £27,873 - £30,408
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £30,963 - £33,779 (CLF Grade D) Based on all Year Round
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent, Term Time Only, plus Inset Days, plus 10 days to be worked during school holidays.
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Proposed Start: 26 August 2025
We are looking for a passionate Attendance Officer to join our supportive and talented team at CLF Post 16. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Young People.
The Attendance Officer will:
- Work alongside relevant academy staff to contribute to raising student achievement by improving student attendance.
- Deliver measurable impact in accordance with performance expectations.
- Accurately maintain the academy’s legal attendance records within strict deadlines, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Monitor student attendance and initiate appropriate action as required, in line with academy policy.
- Promote and support high levels of attendance and a positive attendance and punctuality culture within the academy.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with parents/carers and work collaboratively to support and improve student attendance.
- Attend and contribute to attendance meetings with parents/carers as required.

About the CLF Post 16
The CLF Post 16 Academy is situated in South Gloucestershire, hosted at John Cabot Academy, and serves the students of Bristol across two local authorities. We are a centre of education for ages 16-19 offering a range of level 1, 2 and 3 vocational courses and a full breadth of A Level qualifications.
