Job Title: Inclusion Supervisor 

Actual Annual Salary:  £23,945 - £25,814 based on working weeks

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term. Term time only (plus INSET days) 

Contract Length: Fixed until 31 August 2026

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 2 June 2025 or 1 September 2025

Your opportunity to  work as part of the Inclusion Team in the academy’s Inclusion Zone, supervising and facilitating the learning of the students on the Independent Study Room (ISR) provision and undertake all associated administration.

 We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion Supervisor to join our Inclusion Team. In this role, you will manage the Reflection Room, where students go after leaving the classroom as a result of not meeting expectations in line with our behaviour policy.

Your main responsibility will be to support students in reflecting on their behaviour, helping them understand the cause of the disruption, and guiding them on how to be successful in future lessons. The Inclusion Supervisor will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a productive learning environment for all students.

About you:

You will have:

  • Good literacy and numeracy competency (evidenced by GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, equivalent qualifications or experience).
  • Awareness of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection. 
  • An understanding of assessment of student progress.
  • Experience of providing support to groups of students, including experience of working one to one with students
  • Able to work with students, colleagues, and parents with a high level of professionalism.
