TEACHER OF ART

Positions at Soar Valley don’t come up very often, and this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly competent and enthusiastic teacher to join our very successful and well-resourced department from the beginning of the new academic year, August 2026. We offer a superb environment in which to continue or begin your teaching career, and we welcome applications from those wishing to offer full or part time, from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The arts are a significant and thriving part of the curriculum at Soar Valley. The Art Department offers Fine Art, Graphics and Photography, and a large number of students opt to take the subjects at Key Stage 4. Results are very strong, thanks to the excellent leadership and fantastic team spirit of collaborative working within the team.

Ofsted judged Soar Valley to be an outstanding school in all categories in our last inspection in March 2025. We believe we have a unique ethos, and feedback from visitors reinforces this. Ours is a school with a vibrant mix of cultures, and where relationships between all are a real strength, which contributes massively to our success.
