Our recent Ofsted inspection judged Soar Valley to be Outstanding in all four categories, an outcome of which we are very proud. This post represents a rare opportunity to be a part of this superb school. We are looking to recruit a highly competent, conscientious and enthusiastic teacher to join our excellent Humanities team for the start of the new academic year 2026, and welcome applications from both early career teachers and those with more experience.
Humanities subjects are a strength at Soar Valley. RE is taught to all students up to GCSE level, supporting the development of tolerance and respect for others’ beliefs and cultures, so vital in our diverse community, and so the ability to offer the subject is an advantage. History and Geography are both very popular and there are several options groups at Key Stage 4 in both subjects.
