Vice Principal (L21-25)
This is a rare and amazing opportunity for an exceptional senior leader with proven track record of school improvement to join our highly successful inner-city school.
We are looking to appoint an ambitious candidate to join our highly collaborative team at the start of the new academic year, taking a leading role in the continued development of this outstanding school. The successful candidate will be expected to lead on a broad range of school improvement strategies, which will initially include responsibilities for the pastoral system, guidance and support of students. To an extent the role will be shaped on the experiences and strengths of the successful candidate and other areas of responsibility will depend on these.
Soar Valley was deemed to be an outstanding school back in 2014, and we judge this to still be the case today. Regular external reviews challenge us to constantly reflect on and amend our practice, and standards remain exceptionally high in all areas of our work. Outcomes are excellent; for example, Progress 8 measures over the last few years put us in the top 10% of schools nationally. The thing we are most proud of however, is our unique and caring ethos, which inspires success for all, making this a great school at which to further develop your career. The successful candidate will join a senior leadership team which works extremely effectively and cohesively, and is highly committed to the success of the college. Our staff team is supportive and friendly; our students are a vibrant, culturally mixed, high achieving group; we offer state-of-the-art accommodation and facilities; and this post offers an excellent opportunity for the professional development of the right candidate.
