Mangotsfield is a local secondary school firmly rooted in, and proudly working within the community which it serves. The school is situated in pleasant semi-rural surroundings on the north-eastern outskirts of Bristol.

The role 

We strongly believe that in order to change behaviours we need to understand the root cause, so you’ll be carrying out 1-2-1 support and identifying and implementing mentoring plans. You’ll get the opportunity to give dedicated time to students to help improve their self esteem, confidence, behaviour and attitude. 

Salary: £22,183 FTE which is £17,968 prorated. 

Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year. (Term time only + Inset Days) 

About you 

You’ll need to be able to work independently and think on your feet. The right candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to demonstrate resilience. 


NVQ Level 3 Learning Development and Support Services or equivalent or extensive relevant experience in a similar or related post
