Care Assistant

Start date: 7th March 2022

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3pm. Term time only.

Salary: Hay 13 (£10,740 per annum)

This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2022 due to a budgetary review.

We are looking to appoint a part-time 5 day a week Care Assistant on a fixed term contract until 31.8.22, starting 7th March 2022 or sooner.

The successful candidates will work under the general supervision of the Class Teacher and Physical Needs Leader, to attend to the personal and hygiene care needs of pupils.

We are looking for people who have:

• A love of working with children

• Understanding of the needs of pupils with Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Autism

• Ability to work flexibly

• A team player

• Experience of working with children of different ages

• Respectful

• A good communicator

• Understanding of safeguarding children

• Ability to follow instructions and work under own initiative

• Sense of humour
