We are looking for a Specialist TA who is the special type of person that can enable our students to be empowered in having the complete school experience regardless of needs and so they are able to achieve their personal academic success. This TA will work in our dedicated Access Centre.

Here at Lyde Green we have a specialist Access Centre dedicated to children that have a primary diagnosis of ASD along with complex learning needs. The Access Centre provides bespoke and expert provision to enable them to make progress. There are no expectations for our pupils to have any inclusion with the main school although we have this luxury should we feel it appropriate for individuals.
About The Role
Hours: 32.5 per week
You’ll provide critical support to individuals and groups of students whilst they undertake a range of educational activities. You will be dealing with very specialised needs, using your skills and experience to assist pupils in their learning environment. You’ll work closely with the teachers to monitor the students progress and development.
You will have demonstrable experience in supporting pupils with ASD and learning difficulties. You’ll need to be confident, adaptable and personable so as to make a great role model and be able to think on your feet. A team player is key although you’ll need to be comfortable with working independently and able to cope under pressure.
