Hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm including a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak. Term time only.
Salary: Hay 10 (£15,414 - £ 16,358 per annum)

We are seeking an exceptional EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team.
We are recruiting a teaching assistant who will work closely with the class teachers to plan, support and assess learning and play in the reception unit.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and be able to support and assess children as they learn and explore through play.
This post will involve supporting pupils with learning and play as well as leading adult-led sessions. The role will also involve undertaking a range of assessments as well as scaffolding and extending learning through effective questioning and knowledge of children’s next steps. The successful candidate will also be required to lead intervention sessions and a daily phonics lesson (training will be provided upon appointment).
The successful candidate will require a good standard of education, normally evidenced by 3 or more GCSEs (including Mathematics and English) at Grade C or above or other equivalents. The successful candidates should possess NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants/ other relevant qualification or minimum 3 years relevant experience of working with children in an educational context. We would be particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who have a background or training in early year’s education or childhood development.
