Salary: Up to £26,228 pro rata (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Under the direction of the Assistant Principal and in liaison with the Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator and academic teams, you will be focusing upon learner attendance, retention and success by providing regular learner review meetings to enable them to access all aspects of the College curriculum and achieve their learning goals. In the first instance, this role will involve supporting students predominantly following vocational courses. The role is pivotal in contributing to the College achieving ‘outstanding’ levels of student retention and achievement by tracking and monitoring learner’s academic progress, attendance and first line welfare concerns. In addition, you will identify learners who need to overcome barriers to learning, support learners to achieve their full potential, through close liaison with college specialist services as well as co-ordinating and delivering group tutorials and personal development activities.
As the role entails liaising with academic staff, students and parents you will need excellent communication skills, enjoy working with young people, possess a “can-do” attitude as well as the ability to co-ordinate your own workload and being able to prioritise and multi-task as required.
