£21,057 - £23,088 pro rata (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
As the initial contact point of the college you will deliver a courteous and efficient counter and phone service to external customers, students and staff.
The role entails operating digital phones/switchboard, a central radio system, a postal franking machine along with using various databases and maintaining manual and electronic records. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:
• Have demonstrable experience of working in a busy frontline environment.
• Possess a strong customer focus along with a “can-do” attitude.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be competent in the use of the full range of Microsoft applications (word/excel/outlook and calendar)
• Have good organisation and team-working skills.
• Possess GCSE English and Maths at level C/4 or above or equivalent.
We require an occasional degree of flexibility from the successful candidate who can offer additional hours to cover planned annual leave and sickness.
We have two posts available for 22 hours over 4 days per week, 38 weeks per year and 22.5 hours over 3 days per week, 38 weeks per year. Please indicate your preferred working pattern in your covering letter.
This post is based at the Sparsholt campus.
