Work Placement Liaison Officer

£24,237 - £25,668 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

To consolidate current delivery and T-Level preparations with Industry Placements, we are looking to recruit an additional member of staff to the existing Industry Placement team. The aim of the team is to support students who undertake full-time vocational and technical study programmes to participate in high quality work placements. These industry work placements enable students to develop practical and technical skills, substantive occupational work experience and an awareness of working life in the sector which links to their programme of study with the College. The job role will support students’ preparation for industry placements, securing of placements with employers and monitoring of skills development while on placement. The team operate in-line with key vocational and technical programmes offered by the College in order to meet contractual targets agreed with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) under its Capacity and Delivery Funding contract. This contract supports capacity-building for T-Level delivery.

To be successful you must:

- Enjoy working and interacting with young people

- Successful track record and skills with employer engagement

- Strong IT, organisational and administrative skills

- Used to working to targets

- Have a good standard of education

- Have a valid driving licence and be able to use your own vehicle, as required, to undertake employment visits
