Salary: £22,000 (junior tech salary) to £26,000 (full tech salary) dependent on experience
An enthusiastic and motivated laboratory technician is required to join a team of technicians working to support the delivery of a varied and exciting science curriculum within the school. The post holder will be based primarily in the biology department but will also be required to provide support elsewhere within the science department as requested by the Laboratory Manager and/or Head of Science. The contract is full time, term time only, plus 15 extra days during school breaks.
A qualification in a science discipline at A level or equivalent, as well as previous experience of working as a Laboratory Technician is highly desirable. You will have excellent team-work and communication skills and your organised, flexible approach will mean you can balance priorities effectively and work with minimum supervision.
