This is an exciting opportunity for an Office Assistant with a keen interest in finance and marketing, to join our school.
Your opportunity
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive administrator to work as part of our busy office team at Springfield Primary School.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will provide high quality, varied administrative support for the school, including financial and student welfare tasks. You will be based in our main school office and will be the first point of contact for receiving and processing payments and online financial transactions. Experience of working in an educational environment would be desirable.

The responsibilities include:
- Maintaining robust administration systems, processes and procedures for the school’s financial information
- Using various computer applications to perform daily tasks (eg Bromcom and PS Financials)
- Ensuring the banking and record keeping for school meals is recorded on ScoPay against the relevant student in a timely fashion
- Monthly reconciliations and reports
- Resolving parental enquiries for online payments
- Producing the weekly school newsletter
- Marketing the school and nursery
The successful candidate will work 30 hours a week over 5 days (10am – 4.30pm).

Salary: GLF Associate 2, £22,150 FTE
Pro Rata: £15,879
Hours of work: 30 hours, 5 days a week (10am - 4.30pm), 39 weeks a year
