Part-time Teaching Assistant Vacancy
Part-time: up to 18 hours per week - flexible hours (days and hours to be agreed at interview)
Core hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm per day, however flexibility exists for part-time candidates
Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026
Salary NJC Grade D SCP 4-6, FTE £24,404 - £25,183, £12.65 - £13.05 per hour (depending on experience)
39 weeks per year, term time only
£10,155 - £10,479 Pro-rata for 18 hours per week
To start as early as possible after appointment

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of professionals.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
- patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
- a strong team working ethos
- good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
- an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
- effective communication with young people and teachers
