Teaching Assistant 

20 hours per week

Flexible days of the week (to be agreed at interview) 

Core hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm per day

Permanent

Salary NJC Grade D SCP 4-6, FTE £25,185 - £25,989, £13.05 - £13.47 per hour (depending on experience)

39 weeks per year, term time only

£11,644 -£12,016 Pro-rata for 20 hours per week

To start as early as possible after appointment

Successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview at the School during w/c 10th November.

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of professionals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  •  an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
  •  patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
  •  a strong team working ethos
  •  good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
  •  an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
  •  effective communication with young people and teachers
