TEACHER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

PART-TIME (0.6) / FULL-TIME

Required for 1st September 2024

(MPS/UPS, Outer London allowance)

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly successful Religious Education Department. The department has been judged as outstanding in three successive Diocesan Inspections and is a leading department within the school in terms of exam outcomes. St. Mark’s was graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in September 2022, and our students achieve consistently high examination results. This post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced teacher. Due to the distinctive nature of RE in a Catholic school, the successful candidate should ideally be a practicing Catholic.

● Have high expectations and be committed to enabling all students to fulfill their potential

● Have excellent subject knowledge and ideally able to teach up to A Level

● Be able to communicate effectively
