About Us

We are a friendly primary school offering a caring and supportive environment to all children from Chippenham and the surrounding villages. It is a place where all pupils are valued and are encouraged to do their best, fulfil their potential and share their talents with others within a happy, relaxed atmosphere. We were delighted to receive an 'Outstanding' inspection grade in our recent SIAMS Church School inspection.

Our school values are caring, sharing, respect and forgiveness. We also value questioning in order to deepen our understanding of ourselves, other people and the world around us.

Our Vision, Values and Aims

Our Vision and Values

"Giving children the keys to unlock their future."

As a church school, we believe that ‘Giving children the keys to unlock their future’ will enable all pupils to flourish within our care and achieve their full potential.

This is underpinned theologically by the words of Jesus:

”I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

Christian values are central on our journey together and we particularly value caring, sharing, forgiving, respect and questioning.

Working for The Blue Kite Academy Trust

We believe our schools should be vibrant, friendly places where the children are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe in teaching skills, sharing knowledge and building special memories that children will take with them through the rest of their lives.

We believe that through inspirational teaching, determination, a lot of love and a lot of laughter, the children in our schools can achieve their greatest potential, regardless of their starting points in life.

We believe in teaching, modelling values and preparing them for life in the 21st Century and we believe that in doing so we will give them a solid foundation for their future.
