The children, staff and local committee are seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Headteacher who is committed to promoting high standards of teaching and learning and will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of our school’s development within a nurturing environment where every child is known. This role will involve a teaching commitment of 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in:
• Being a strong example of ‘excellence’ as a leading classroom practitioner, leading, modelling, inspiring and motivating other staff
• Working within the Senior Leadership Team to lead on and sustain high expectations and excellent practice
• The development and implementation of a broad and rich curriculum which meets the needs of all pupils in the school
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of the quality of teaching, and standards of pupil’s achievement, using benchmarks and targets for improvement
• Taking initiative and is a strategic thinker who can inspire and hold others to account with clarity and integrity
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
• Contributing to the positive school ethos and culture that has been developed; in which every individual enabled to flourish
• Building positive relationships with all children, setting high expectations and enabling them all to be the best version of themselves.
• Support, promote and embrace the Christian ethos of the school
