Our EYFS brings together Nursery (3+) and Reception children in a vibrant, nurturing environment where they learn, explore and thrive together. Supported by an experienced team of teachers and early years practitioners, we are committed to a high‑quality play‑based pedagogy rooted in the principles of Birth to Five Matters and underpinned by the Teachers’ Standards. Children’s interests sit at the heart of our curriculum, shaping provision, continuous learning opportunities and purposeful adult interactions.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational EYFS lead Teacher who can organise and lead all aspects of our EYFS, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential across the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of child development and the Birth to Five Matters guidance, using this to skilfully scaffold learning and foster independence.
- Models’ high expectations in line with the Teachers’ Standards, ensuring strong practice in teaching, assessment and professional conduct.
- Is an excellent team player, able to lead, coach and inspire colleagues across the phase.
- Is a creative and reflective thinker, confident in designing an engaging learning environment that supports both play and purposeful learning.
- Is an exceptional communicator, able to build strong relationships with children, families and staff, and articulate ideas clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Is confident working in both digital and face‑to‑face contexts, using technology effectively to support communication, assessment and curriculum design.
- Brings an innovative and child‑centred approach, with a commitment to continuous professional learning
