Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

  • Part Time Position - 10 hours per week – Term Time Only
  • Salary: £30,060 - £32,654 FTE per year, pro rata
  • Actual salary from £6,855 - £7447 per year

We have an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and highly committed team in the heart of a thriving village community. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for:

  • An experienced and organised Teaching Assistant with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively.
  • An enthusiastic and creative individual who enjoys working with children and enabling them to reach their potential
  • An individual with experience and understanding of SEND
  • Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and lead with all members of the school team
  • Commitment to high standards for all pupils in both learning and behaviour
  • Responsiveness to the children’s needs academically, socially and emotionally
  • Safeguarding for all to be at the forefront of their responsibilities with a good understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and equal opportunities policies.
