Pay Scale – M1-M6

£32,916 - £45,352 FTE

£13,166 - £18,140 Actual Salary

The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint a permanent Class Teacher from 1st September 2026.

We are looking for:

• An enthusiastic, creative and reflective teacher, with high expectations of their pupils and themselves
• The ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school team and wider community
• A good understanding of how to identify and meet individual learning needs within the classroom context.
• ECTs are very welcome to apply. The school is committed to encouraging newly qualified teachers and staff will receive full support.
•  St Aldhelm’s is a lovely semi-rural school on the edge of Shepton Mallet. We have a thriving and supportive team who help to create a happy and enjoyable learning experience for everyone.
