St Andrew’s Church School is a one form entry church primary school, with an integrated nursery and reception class, situated in the centre of the World Heritage city of Bath. The school regularly accesses the various cultural centres within the city as part of its work with the ‘School without Walls’ initiative. The school is socially, culturally and ethnically diverse and inclusion is therefore one of our key values.
What we are looking for
Our Nursery is thriving, and we are seeking to appoint an experienced Nursery Lead who can inspire, nurture, motivate and challenge children to achieve their best across all areas of the curriculum. You will be confident to lead Nursery provision in collaboration with the Foundation Stage Team within a Foundation Stage Unit. You will be a forward thinking, creative practitioner who enjoys challenge.
We are looking for a person who:
- Is a good team player, proactive and motivational towards others
- Is a creative thinker
- Is calm and confident to problem solve and forward thinking
- Is an excellent communicator with good presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Is confident to work with parents and outside agencies
- Is innovative, engaging, passionate about learning and research
- Has a strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy and the learning environment.

Salary, hours and pay scale
Salary from £20303 to £22018 actual per year
Pay Grade - SCP 11-16
£27,269 - £29,572 FTE per year
Hours - 32.5 (38.4 Working Weeks Per Year)
