  • Leading on procurement and contract management, ensuring value for money at Hub and Trust level
  • Managing and authorising expenditure on behalf of Hub schools in line with role mandates
  • Supporting recruitment, induction, onboarding, and workforce planning across the Hub
  • Ensuring compliance with DfE and Trust financial regulations, safeguarding, GDPR, and health and safety requirements
  • Monitoring absence, payroll accuracy, and staff wellbeing initiatives, including payroll reconciliation in line with monthly accounts
  • Working with the Regional Hub Facilities Lead to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective estates management
  • Supporting the maintenance of risk registers and mitigation plans across Hub schools
  • Producing monthly Hub performance reports for Regional Directors and the Executive Team
  • Acting as a trusted business partner to Headteachers, providing strategic advice and building strong relationships with Trust and external stakeholders

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A professional finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in finance and business management across multiple sites
  • A proven track record of budget setting and monitoring
  • Experience managing HR processes and compliance
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and DfE requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, finance systems, and HR systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

What we offer

  • A competitive salary of £51,356 to £54,495 per annum on BWMAT Scale K
  • A broad, senior role spanning a family of schools, with genuine strategic influence and scope
  • A collaborative, values-driven culture where staff are supported to grow and thrive
  • A base within the Regional Hub with flexibility in how you manage your time
