About the role

This is a rare and significant leadership opportunity for an experienced and credible system leader ready to make a difference at scale within our large Trust family.

As a Regional Hub Director, you will hold full accountability for standards, educational performance, and outcomes across a group of schools within your Hub, working at the heart of our Trust's Senior Leadership Team.

You will line manage Executive Headteachers and Headteachers, translating Trust strategy into meaningful, measurable impact and leading on data and assessment, curriculum implementation, school improvement, and a defined Trust-wide portfolio.

This is a role for a leader who combines sharp analytical thinking with strong interpersonal skills, and who can hold people to account with both rigour and compassion.

Your duties will include

  • Holding full accountability for standards, outcomes, and performance across all schools in the Hub
  • Line managing Executive Headteachers and Headteachers, providing high-quality support, challenge, and professional accountability
  • Leading effective use of data across the Hub, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Overseeing assessment accuracy and moderation, ensuring reliability and consistency across Hub schools
  • Supporting curriculum design and implementation in partnership with the Director of System Leadership
  • Leading a defined portfolio area for Trust-wide priorities, evaluating impact and reporting to the Executive Team
  • Contributing to Trust-wide reviews, Ofsted and SIAMS preparation, and wider school improvement activity
  • Building leadership capacity through performance development, succession planning, and talent identification

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven track record of success as a Headteacher or Executive Headteacher, securing good or better outcomes across more than one school
  • Experience of line managing Headteachers and holding leaders robustly to account across more than one school
  • Experience of leading a school through a positive Ofsted and SIAMS inspection
  • Experience of leading school improvement across more than one school, hub, or partnership
  • Experience of working within a central team within a local authority, multi-academy trust, or other organisation
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, assessment accuracy, and moderation
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion, and statutory governance requirements

What we offer

  • A competitive salary of £85,000 to £105,000, reflecting the seniority and scope of the role
  • A place at the heart of our Leadership Team, with genuine influence over Trust strategy
  • A collaborative, values-driven culture where leaders are supported to grow and thrive
  • Hybrid working with a named school as a collaboration Hub
  • Access to a strong professional network across our Trust family and wider system partnerships
  • The opportunity to make a lasting difference to children, schools, and communities
  • Additional health, wellbeing, and lifestyle benefits
