Fixed Term Contract 3rd September 2026 to 31st August 2027
20 hours (4 mornings and 3 afternoons per week term time only including INSET days)
Point 5 - 6 FTE salary £25,583.00-£25,989.00
Actual salary £12,279.84 - £12,474.72
The governors of St Mark’s Primary School wish to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant. The role will involve supporting a child in receipt of additional SEN funding.
St Mark’s is a large 436 place primary school with approximately 400 pupils currently on roll. The school was graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted (January 2025) and had an overall judgment of ‘excellent’ in our SIAMS report in November 2022. St Mark’s is an academy school within the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust.
The successful candidate will need to:
• be an excellent teaching assistant with proven high-quality experience who can help children access the curriculum
• be committed to providing high quality support within a learning environment in which each child has the opportunity to flourish
• be enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking and calm
• be able to demonstrate initiative
